Interview with Krista Umgelter, who helps us return to our Inner Guidance

Krista Umgelter talks about the many ways we can reconnect with our Inner Guidance through dream work, art therapy, hypnosis, other forms of therapy, and shamanic journeying. Through this reconnection and opening of communication with ourselves, we can solve the issues we face as well as to listen to our own bodies and understand what we need. She encourages us to work with activity that we are most familiar and comfortable with in order to enter a meditative state that allows us to get centered, become present, and understand where we are. Also, exploring different activities and modalites can help us expand our awareness and understanding ourselves.

Krista mentions that what tends to disconnect people from their Inner Guidance is either having too much energy vested in the possible future or locked in past events. Hence, activities and practices which bring us to the present will help us reconnect to ourselves, to be present, to be in full awareness of the moment.

As we scatter our energy in attempts to reach the “magic kingdom”, we don’t realize that The Road we take is the magical kingdom of life.

I asked her a lot of questions, including how to deal with the fear that distracts us from trusting our inner guidance and she lets us know that going forward from a place of humility and respect for ourselves and others, while also trusting ourselves and knowing that we are enough, understanding that what we perceive as “errors” are actually learning experiences that meant to guide us further in our journey. This will help us face the fear we have of returning to ourselves and trusting our inner guidance.

Holistic Healer Panel with Dr. Pam Middleton, Dr. Angelica Wagner and Teri Stanley

On this past Tuesday, October 18, I attended an Amazing Holistis Healer Panel where Dr. Pam Middleton, Dr. Angelica Wagner, and Teri Stanely spoke about the different modalities they work with to heal the mind, body and spirit. How these healing modalities have been Scientifically Proven by institutions such as the Harvard School of Medicine and more. And how even though we are still pushing through a lot of resistance from the Allopathic world, people are being empowered by increased knowledge about these “Alternative” healing modalities, they are finding the Research that proves their validity, and they are able to push against the institutions that refuse to acknowledge what has been proven to be true by Time, Experience, and Scientific Research. The world of Health and Wellness is changing and we are in a New Age of Integrative Healing, the Revolution is happening now and the organizations and institutions that refuse to let go of their monopoly will be broken down!

Here is the recording of this amazing panel, I am working on transcribing this and will add on the transcription as soon as it is done. Meanwhile, enjoy the video!

Information about the Speakers

Teri Stanley is a certified Touch For Health Kinesiologist with certificates in Crystal Healing, Reconnective Healing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping), an Awakening Practitioner and has knowledge of other modalities. Teri has been in the business of helping others to heal for over three years. Teri uses Kinesiology to find out what the body needs to heal and in what order. Getting to the root causes of pain has always led her to the emotions that get trapped in the body. By focusing on releasing the emotions and the thoughts we think while supplying proper nutrition and supplements the physical body starts to heal and keep that health.

“My focus is helping the client reach their full potential and joy in their live by helping them to remove imbalances in the body along with releasing trapped emotions through the use of kinesiology and other modalities.” ~ Teri Stanley
