Interview with Krista Umgelter, who helps us return to our Inner Guidance

Krista Umgelter talks about the many ways we can reconnect with our Inner Guidance through dream work, art therapy, hypnosis, other forms of therapy, and shamanic journeying. Through this reconnection and opening of communication with ourselves, we can solve the issues we face as well as to listen to our own bodies and understand what we need. She encourages us to work with activity that we are most familiar and comfortable with in order to enter a meditative state that allows us to get centered, become present, and understand where we are. Also, exploring different activities and modalites can help us expand our awareness and understanding ourselves.

Krista mentions that what tends to disconnect people from their Inner Guidance is either having too much energy vested in the possible future or locked in past events. Hence, activities and practices which bring us to the present will help us reconnect to ourselves, to be present, to be in full awareness of the moment.

As we scatter our energy in attempts to reach the “magic kingdom”, we don’t realize that The Road we take is the magical kingdom of life.

I asked her a lot of questions, including how to deal with the fear that distracts us from trusting our inner guidance and she lets us know that going forward from a place of humility and respect for ourselves and others, while also trusting ourselves and knowing that we are enough, understanding that what we perceive as “errors” are actually learning experiences that meant to guide us further in our journey. This will help us face the fear we have of returning to ourselves and trusting our inner guidance.

November Dark Moon : Working internally and collapsing the ego as we build externally despite of the odds

This Dark Moon ushers in a time of great internal development that pushes us outwards and forward with our life. What ends is a phase of emotionally reaching out and extending ourselves so as to reconnect with the outer world. After reaching out externally this past cycle, now we begin to try and stop external collapses that we foresee as being brought upon by sudden and fast change. This trial makes us face the collapse of our inner self as we deal with internal conflicts of progression and change, brought on by the panic of trying to stop change. The lesson is regarding building physical security and wealth. We can prepare for this by toning down on our passionate expression of our creative love and allowing the passion to burn inside of us and grow the magnetic power of our inner self. We allow the the process by being outgoing, meeting new people and reaching out with what we have to offer. This is more formal and different from reaching out with passion and love, as we work to build our internal strength and fire of creativity.

What grounds us is staying hopeful when we aren’t sure about what the mixed signals that the external world is sending to us. What crowns us is engaging in the exchange of the tangible; which in formal terms are considered goods & services, but in personal terms, it can be as simple as spending time with someone to help them out with a task or giving them space to finalize and release what was within them (like the hidden words and thoughts that pervade our minds and weigh us down with worry), which in turn will bring back a return from the Universe, as mysterious and random as what we gave. Push the ego to the side and know that when we are there for someone, some cause, some element of nature, the Universe bears witness and returns the help.

A look into the background of shows that currently, our inner guidance has led us to reach outward and be more engaged in our environment. The immediate challenges involve that which we keep to ourselves, and how much we can really manage to secretly achieve without communicating our intention to others. An awareness of what is best to keep and what is best to express will test our discernment of self. The best course of action involves staying optimistic despite of the odds, winning internally against the pressure of game of worry. In the distant past we pressed onwards despite overbearing pressure and worries regarding our situation, which then brought us to a time of self-doubt which made us turn inward to nurture ourselves and recover our self-confidence. So now we look to the future and see rapid changes happening as our internal growth expands the possibilities in our external world. This brings an urge to stop the rapid change in order to prevent a collapse, which brings inner conflict and egoic collapses. We are currently in open communication with a close friend or partner as we work in an environment that promotes development of new skills and studies. We fear losing control as we try not to be overbearing. The final outcome shows that we are working on developing tangible internal goals for ourselves as the outer world may not show what we want for now. However, in accordance with previous cards, stay hopeful and keep moving forward with internal optimism and external realism.

One thing to carry with us is knowing that even if we are unable to see the truth of things surrounding us in the external world, we can turn inward and work with the assuredness of our inner truth of being as we move forward. With inner hope and optimism that we know our goal and have it in sight.

Full Beaver Moon of November 14, 2016 Making our Own Path and Letting Go of What no longer serves us

The Full Beaver Moon of November 14, 2016 is a unique Perigree or Super Moon. According to the Farmer’s Almanac it is the largest and brightest moon since 1948 and there will not be one comparable until November 25, 2034.

fullbeavermoon_sqr_frame

For this Full Moon, we are Manifesting our own unique path. What brought this is our focus on our goals and tending our own personal garden. We prepare for the manifestation by shielding ourselves from distractions by keenly focusing on the one main idea/goal and letting it guide us. What we are learning is to let what no longer serves us pass away.

What we are letting go of the resistance to leave situations and relationships that no longer serve us. We do that by acknowledging our internal detachment
and allowing it to manifest into the outer world. We allow this to pass by coming to terms with everything that has happened, taking responsibility for
for ourselves, then making choices and taking actions that are in alignment with our unique path and goal[s]. What grounds us is the fast movement, whether it be of us physically going place to place or the sequence of events and messages. While all this is pushing us onward, what crowns us in the mad action is recollecting our energy and keeping the passion alive within us.

Looking more into our surrounding environment, we see:

fullbeavermoon_dark_frame

We are currently collaborating with others and building towards our goal. The immediate challenges is emotional overflow when we are unable to hold the floodgate. We can prepare for this by recollecting our energy, taking care of ourselves and our emotional health. The best thing about all this crazy movement is that once you pick up speed, while you may feel like you are falling, you are actually given a chance to let go of everything that no longer serves you. In the distant past we were emotionally closed up. Then, in the recent past we blossomed with idealistic ideas of what we want with life and moved forward to take action! In the future we will have ample support in the material world for us to rely on.

We are in a place where we can see the truth behind things and move forward with decisive actions, our environment may confuse us by either obstructing our inspirational ideas from coming forth or we may have too many different ideas distracting us from our main path. We hope for a release from the mental torture brought by worries and negative thought patterns. In the end we will be working on developing new skills and further specializing in what we know as we walk forward.

What helps us in this phase is the energy of Decisiveness, where we keep a clear head and logically analyze things as they come and can easily decide and act on what can serve or distract us in achieving out goals.
